Brian Lee Formula 1 Concept Watch

Brian Lee is a product and watches designer, currently graduate in Product Design at Birmingham City University (BIAD) to explore different field and knowledge of Product design.

Inspired by the beauty of nature, trying to use organic form in his design. He believes the combination between clean, simple outlook with decorated details is the key of good design. His passion is timepiece design and product design, the design become real and being used are offering him personal satisfaction.

This is a co-operative project with a skeleton movement Manufacturer, and they need some sporty design which is suitable for their skeleton movement. The inspiration came from a Formula 1 racing car. The movement is engine and the watch case is the car’s body, so Brian designed a removable case for the case, which is suitable for users to change it depends on different situation.
