Eddie Jordan’s long and chequered F1 career began with racing and later team management, with the Irishman establishing the relatively successful and admired racing outfit Jordan Grand Prix in 1991. Following the team’s sale in 2004, it has gone on to be known as Midland, Spyker and now Force India under the ownership of Indian billionaire, Vijay Mallya. Awarded the OBE in 2012, Eddie is one of the BBC’s F1 pundits. He is the People’s Favourite commentator, not mincing his words, nor afraid to voice his opinion and fearless and forthright in his questioning. Eddie Jordan is also the Patron of CLIC Sargent, a cancer foundation for children, and still plays the night away with his band Eddie and The Robbers. He is currently the lead analyst for Formula 1 coverage on the BBC.
