14. Paul Hembery

Pirelli’s Motorsport Director has already led the Italian tyre manufacturer to success in WRC, Superbikes and GP3, but from 2011, Paul Hembery faced the toughest call of his career, as he led the brand back into Formula 1 after a 19-year hiatus. Delivered all and more that he promised with those Pirellis in 2011; 2012 – even more so. What’s more interesting, and there has been a lot discussions about it, some teams cope better with the tyres at lower temperature; some at higher – resulting in unpredictable results and one or two disgruntled drivers, most notably, Michael Schumacher.
