Jean-Frederic Dufour is the sixth CEO of the brand. He is a respected figure in the watch industry. Mr Dufour got his Commercial and Industrial Science/Economics degree from the University of Geneva. He then went to Hong Kong to work in the banking industry. He returned to Switzerland and started a successful career as the manager of well-known watch brands, where he learned about sales, production, marketing, and the development of new products.
In the same way that his predecessors did, Jean-Frédéric Dufour wants to strengthen Rolex’s reputation worldwide and keep alive a legend that combines tradition, prestige, and technology. An epic full of beauty, excellence, and creativity, with important new ideas sprinkled throughout.
Formula 1 is the top level of motorsports, and Rolex is the sport’s Global Partner and Official Timepiece. The famous Formula 1 drivers Sir Jackie Stewart, Mark Webber, and Nico Rosberg, all of whom are part of Rolex’s family of Testimonees, have helped keep the Swiss watchmaker at the top of motor racing.
