It is great to join the Sauber Group from January: this is a team with a rich history in Formula One and an organisation I know well from working and living in Hinwil for four years. I can’t wait to join the team and work with all the colleagues at the Sauber Group on the ambitious goals we have set together. Thank Finn Rausing and everyone at the Sauber Group for their choice: I look forward to repaying their trust in my work.

He also commented on his first impressions at Sauber HQ:

After my previous experience at Hinwil, coming here felt natural, and it’s great to be back. There are a lot of familiar faces, as well as many new ones, and I’ve been given a warm welcome. I have found a very motivated and ambitious team, full of talent, a team with a great foundation, ready to tackle the challenges and opportunities ahead of us.
