39. Mahmood al Kooheji

CEO of Bahrain’s $9bn sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat, Mahmood has an M.B.A. from the Henley College of Management, Brunel University and a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Staffordshire University. The Kooheji family owns one of the largest family businesses in the Gulf and has close ties to the ruling royal Al Khalifa family.
