After graduating in 2001, Cyril joined Renault at Boulogne-Billancourt. He was made Business Development Manager for the Renault F1 team in 2007 and went on to become Executive Director of Renault Sport F1 in 2010. He was appointed as new CEO of Caterham F1 Team from Renault Sport F1 and took over Riad Asmat’s position in September 2012. He also took Tony Fernandes’ Team Principal spot after the latter stepped down the job to focus more on Airasia and Caterham Group business. After ‘the end’ of Caterham F1 in 2014, Cyril became Managing Director of Renault Sport F1.
