Norton Rose Fulbright remains the global legal adviser to the McLaren Technology Group, working alongside its highly experienced in-house counsel on all aspects of its legal requirements including corporate transactions; consulting on commercial and contractual matters; advising on intellectual property matters, including management of the global trademark portfolio; advising on real estate, finance, employment, and dispute resolution, among other areas of the law.

Peter Martyr, Global Chief Executive, Norton Rose Fulbright, commented:

“The continuation of our global partnership with McLaren-Honda underpins our commitment to innovation, excellence and teamwork.

“Reinforcing our working partnership with McLaren-Honda, last year we launched the dual-branded Risk Ready campaign as a platform to promote our global risk advisory services. As clients continue to expand their businesses they are facing increasingly complex challenges associated with the management of risk worldwide. With 50 years of Grand Prix racing under their belt, McLaren-Honda has a clear take on risk management, and through the Risk Ready campaign, we have drawn on the parallels between managing risks on track and managing the risks faced by global businesses.

“McLaren-Honda has also supported the recruitment process for our Working Start employability programme, which provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Becoming disability-confident is a catalyst for making our firm more productive and more effective globally.

“Both Norton Rose Fulbright and McLaren-Honda value the benefits diversity can bring to our businesses and we encourage an even more inclusive culture globally, where we are able to unlock the full potential of our diverse workforces.”

Jonathan Neale, Chief Operating Officer, McLaren Technology Group, said:

“Norton Rose Fulbright has a world-class reputation. The continued partnership enables us to complement Norton Rose Fulbright’s extensive capabilities and gives us the opportunity to deliver tangible benefits across the network of the global business. Although we come from different industries, our shared values around corporate responsibility mean we have much in common and I look forward to the continued success of our partnership.”

Working Start

Working Start is Norton Rose Fulbright’s worldwide employability programme supported by McLaren-Honda and is aimed at providing paid employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The programme is designed to promote confidence and provide employment for people who have a disability. As well as gaining valuable commercial on-the-job experience, participants are part of a global project to help the firm become more disability confident as an organisation.

Risk Ready

The Risk Ready campaign is a dual-branded campaign with McLaren-Honda. Norton Rose Fulbright’s global Risk Advisory offering provides clients with bespoke solutions for the management and mitigation of risk. Risk is part of every sector, practice area and geography and it provides the ideal opportunity for Norton Rose Fulbright to engage with and support their clients.
