 Singapore’s biggest and most glamorous F1 weekend after-party hosts celebrity guests, Royalty and superstar talent from Friday 15 – Sunday 17 September. Singapore’s 10th Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend boasted a sell-out record crowd at The Podium Lounge after-party, the key trackside event highlight of the season held at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

 With over 10,000 guests being entertained over the three-night action-packed affair, The Podium Lounge was hosted by Formula 1 Legend, Giancarlo Fisichella alongside Miss Indonesia ’14 and E! News Asia host Maria Rahajeng.

 The glitzy event featured the main headline acts, Macy Gray and Fierce Angel who performed live along with celebrity fashion shows, grid girl and aerialist performances, an auction of rare and authenticated F1 memorabilia as well as rare art, wine, whisky, watch, fragrance, supercar and private jet showcases.

 Celebrity guests included Mercedes Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas; Prince Mateen of Brunei; ex-Formula 1 driver David Coulthard; Australian Rules Hall of Fame footballer Glenn Archer; ex-Formula 1 and A1 driver Alex Yoong; Singaporean Pop/R&B singer and former Singapore Idol Tabitha Nauser, award-winning TV and radio presenter Dominic Lau; E! News Host, Raymond Gutierrez; MTV Host, Hanli Hoefer; and Fox Sports Asia TV presenter Paula Malai Ali amongst others.

 Kicking off the Formula 1 party weekend, the creator of Hed Kandi, Mark Doyle and the Fierce Angel collective put on a stunning performance which included ‘Fierce Diva’ Soraya Vivian on vocals, as well as London’s most sought-after celebrity saxophonist Lady V and Cuban percussionist Pablo Calzado on the drums.

 

 Each night at The Podium Lounge, 5-star luxury resort Karma Resorts presented The Nightly Fashion Circuit, curated by The Yak Magazine (Bali), which featured established Hollywood celebrity designer M The Movement and they had a host of international celebrities walking the show including Khanngoen “Khan” Nuanual from Thai-American hip hop music group, Thaitanium; hip hop/R&B Malaysian all-girl group, De Fam; Maureen Wroblewitz, winner of Asia’s Next Top Model 2017 and the first Filipina to win the popular modelling search; Alicia Amin, a finalist on Asia’s Next Top Model 2017; as well as the ten finalists of Miss World Singapore 2017.

 Sunday night’s fashion finale heralded the inaugural show in Singapore for New York Fashion Week designer, Mauricio Alpizar who presented his stunning new resort collection “Modern Asia”, accentuated by Erika Peña Jewelry & Accessories known for her celebrity Hollywood clients such as Beyonce, Jessica Alba, Kim Karshadian and Paris Hilton. Guests who attended Sunday night witnessed a spectacular performance by iconic megastar Macy Gray, who built up the crowd’s anticipation with a 70-minute DJ set before hitting the stage and belting out her mega-hits including I Try and Beauty In The World with everyone singing along.

 Giving guests a glamorous ultra-lounge experience, WingsOverAsia showcased their newest Diamond DA40 private jet for the first time ever in a specially created outdoor VIP experience, besides Formula 1 Gate Nine leading to The Paddock Club & The Pit Lane. Indoors, the next generation Lamborghini Aventador S was showcased front and centre to guests as they entered in to the venue.

 The beautifully designed entrance to The Grand Ballroom, of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore featured hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of art with a mouthwatering exhibition by the highly acclaimed Sundaram Tagore Gallery with their Primary Source presentation, focusing on work by internationally celebrated artists including Annie Leibovitz, Hiroshi Senju, Miya Ando and Kim Joon. Complementing the artistic theme The Podium Lounge proudly hosted world-famous speed painter Armin Flossdorf of F1 Arts, who was joined by Paul Oz, an explosive portrait artist who has created work for Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, Sir Jackie Stewart, Bruno Mars and many more celebrities.

 Also assembled in the Grand Ballroom foyer were purveyors of fine and rare whiskies, The B28 Whisky Fund, in collaboration with the region’s top whisky curators and specialists, who previewed a historic portfolio valued in excess of a million dollars at The Podium Lounge. At the VIP Tables, Champagne Duval-Leroy’s bottle girls enhanced the overall experience as guests enjoyed The Podium Lounge Grid Girls’ live performances and an aerial acrobatics display with silks and hoops presented by Peroni, as well as close-up and personal roving entertainment throughout each night. Italian luxury brand, Bvlgari also used the celebrity-packed event to launch their new fragrance ‘Goldea’ at The Podium Lounge, specially created for every different facet of a woman.
