2020 Paddock Magazine F1 Power List

Paddock’s Top 100 is a register of the most powerful people in the sport, and this year the subject of influence in Formula 1 is as sensitive as ever. Everyone has a take, everyone has an angle, and let’s be honest here, everyone enjoys rating people once in a while.

We’ve gathered a team of experts in the racing business for this occasion: after a lot of research, the team sent a survey
to motorsport professionals and then tweaked the final results.

This is our tenth annual list, and we hope you enjoy the following pages.

A pleasure, as always.

Our favourite annual tradition is making a power list of the 100 most influential people in Formula 1. 2020 marks the 10th edition of this exclusive register, and what a year it has been so far…
Find out who’s hot, who’s not, and who’s new! In the words of Mark Hughes, who has helped us with the list many times: “The Top 100 is always eagerly awaited in the paddock. Everyone in Formula 1 has an ego, and those on the list are keen to remain on it, whilst those not on it want to get in.” Zak Brown, who’s also been a contributor more than once, said that “this list is entertaining to read. Subjective yet entertaining and fun to debate.”
You might also like to catch up with former Formula 1 drivers such as Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, Jean-Eric Vergne, Marcus Ericsson, Pirelli’s F1 boss Mario Isola, Garry Sloan – author of the controversial book “In the pit lane – F1 exposed”, and many more.
