The light bulb
A lot of people ask us how we come up with our ideas. Basically, it’s crucial to LET yourself be inspired – most of the time it’s simple as that. If you’re open to being inspired by various things, they will definitely find you. I know that the advice “keep an open mind” sounds cheesy, but it’s actually becoming more and more difficult to keep your mind this way in the intense flow of workload and information nowadays. And it shouldn’t be like that – ideas have to be able to reach us anytime, we can’t plan their “arrival”.
Developments in motorsport and current trends in vehicle design are great sources for inspiration. It’s important to understand the market and keep up with new trends so that one could create something unique, something extraordinary. In our company, after all the creative work is done, I usually pass design and product ideas on to other departments, where they get the finishing touches the product needs.
For many years in the world of car modification, a lot of designers and clients focused on upgrading SUVs such as the Porsche Cayenne and super sports cars such as the Lamborghini Aventador. Obviously, a lot of new ideas from different corners of the world change the overall tendencies. We are now seeing significant growth in luxury saloon cars like Rolls-Royce, Bentley and the new S Class. A trend towards extrovert colours in high-quality car paints can also be felt quite strongly.
The market of luxurious vehicles, kind of like most other luxury markets, is growing continuously. New models from a wide range of manufacturers keep appearing on the market, and that’s a wonderful thing. But if you don’t stay right on the ball and you don’t produce fresh designs or develop new projects quickly, you will certainly lose touch with the competition and the manufacturers’ accessory range. This is why we produce everything under one roof or at our subsidiaries, from design to fitting parts that we make ourselves.
