The Japanese watch brand will continue to leverage the partnership to promote its Edifice line of timepieces, which will be supplied to the team as part of the agreement.
The new deal will be activated in January 2018 and will see the Edifice logo remain on the team’s drivers’ racing suits, as well as on the nose of their race cars.
The financial terms of the renewal, which runs until 2020, have not been made public. The two entities first partnered in 2016, after Casio ended its agreement with Red Bull Racing, Toro Rosso’s parent team, which entered into a new partnership with Swiss watch brand Tag Heuer.
Toro Russo is sixth in the Formula One constructors’ championship going into the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which takes place at the Yas Marina Circuit on 26th November.
