71. Tobias Meyer

At the helm of DHL Group, the world’s leading logistics company, is Dr. Tobias Meyer—a leader whose career path mirrors the precision, speed, and strategy in Formula 1 racing. As CEO since May 2023, Dr. Meyer oversees not only DHL’s global operations but also its Global Business Services (GBS) division, ensuring seamless coordination across continents.

His journey with DHL began in 2013 as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. From there, he shifted gears quickly. In 2015, he took the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at DHL Global Forwarding, where his leadership helped streamline international freight services. By 2019, he had earned a place on the Board of Management, taking over the Post & Parcel Germany division and eventually GBS before ascending to CEO.

Before joining DHL, Meyer was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising multinational clients from offices in Frankfurt and Singapore. His academic foundation is equally global—he studied Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and the University of Illinois, later earning a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
