Alejandro Soberón stands at the helm of some of the most influential entertainment organisations in Latin America. As Chairman and CEO of both Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento (CIE) and its subsidiary Serinem México, he has shaped the landscape of live events and cultural experiences across the region. He is also the founder and CEO of OCESA, widely recognised as the leading event platform in Mexico and Latin America, responsible for producing and promoting top-tier concerts, festivals, and sporting events.

Under his guidance, CIE played a pivotal role in bringing Formula 1 back to Mexico City, revitalising the nation’s place on the international motorsport stage. The annual event has since become a major draw for fans worldwide and a powerful symbol of Mexico’s capacity to host world-class experiences.
Beyond the entertainment sphere, Soberón holds seats on several prestigious boards, including the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and Grupo Financiero Banamex. Alejandro Soberón’s career exemplifies how leadership in entertainment can transcend stages and stadiums, touching national identity, economic growth, and international perception. His ability to unite culture, commerce, and community continues to elevate Mexico as a dynamic global player in the worlds of business and sport.
